Pam's Biography

Pamela Carter Joern is the author of four works of fiction, published by the University of Nebraska Press: Toby's Last Resort, In Reach, The Plain Sense of Things, and The Floor of the Sky. She has published short stories and essays in various literary journals. She has also written six plays that have been produced in the Twin Cities, including a musical, Alchemyra's Art. She co-edited Re-Membering and Re-Imagining. She taught writing at the Loft Literary Center for many years.
Pam lives in Minneapolis. She is a graduate of United Theological Seminary and holds an MFA from Hamline University.
